Dr. Khan is a board certified, fellowship-trained Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at USC. He completed his residency at NYC Health + Hospitals: Coney Island Hospital, where he was trained by podiatric and orthopedic surgeons in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He then pursued a fellowship opportunity at Keck Medical Center as the inaugural fellow of the Southwest Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA), focusing on limb salvage on complex, high-risk patients. During his fellowship, he honed his surgical technique, participated in complex decision-making for at-risk limbs, published for peer-reviewed journals, and authored a book chapter.
Dr. Khan works works as a part of an interdisciplinary team of podiatric and vascular surgeons who work in concert to preserve limbs and promote functional outcomes. He also leads the Limb Preservation Program at the Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Khan’s mission is to help improve every patient’s quality of life by helping them heal, preserving limb function, and promoting activity-rich days. Dr. Khan speaks English and Bengali. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
