Rachel S. Chang, MD, is an internal medicine physician with Keck Medicine of USC who also specializes in women’s health. She is committed to addressing health equity concerns in her community and supporting patients through every stage of life with evidence-based, personalized care.
Dr. Chang earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Both experiences prepared her to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
She currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of medicine for the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Chang’s research interests include cardiovascular health disparities, the role of diet in heart failure prevention and using innovative approaches like machine learning to improve diagnostics and treatment outcomes.
Originally from Irvine, California, Dr. Chang enjoys traveling, playing ultimate frisbee and spending time with family and friends.
