Keyur D. Patel, MD

Keyur Patel, MD, is a general surgeon specializing in emergency surgery, trauma and critical care. His patients can expect high-quality, streamlined care that gives them the best chance for a full recovery. Every patient’s situation is unique, and Dr. Patel aims to bring a fresh perspective with creative solutions to solve their problems and optimize outcomes.

He believes in thinking outside the box to continually enhance patient care. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Patel’s research interests are on strategies to improve triage and transfers between hospitals to ensure patients receive the appropriate care as quickly as possible. He is a member of prestigious organizations including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Surgeons and the Association for Surgical Education.

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, completed medical school and residency in Philadelphia and did his fellowship training in Dallas. He’s excited to continue his career in Southern California and offer the best care possible to Los Angeles’ diverse populations. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, reading and board games.
