Kacey Hu , MD
Kacey Hu, MD, is a neurologist at Keck Medicine of USC who specializes in treating movement disorders and memory disorders. With firsthand experience in Parkinson’s disease, she is passionate about supporting patients through the challenges of chronic neurological diseases and helping them preserve their quality of life. She prioritizes a collaborative approach to care throughout each patient’s healthcare journey.
Dr. Hu treats movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, ataxia and spasticity with advanced therapies including botulinum toxin injections and deep brain stimulation. She treats memory loss and disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia, among other types of dementia.
Dr. Hu received her medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. She completed her residency in neurology at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, where she was chief resident, and a fellowship in movement disorders at Keck Medical Center of USC.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hu is an assistant professor of clinical neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She is involved in multiple clinical trials focused on advancing therapeutics in Parkinson’s disease and other disorders.
In her free time, Dr. Hu enjoys traveling to new places with her children and exploring trendy food spots in Los Angeles.
