She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society, and a member of the California Optometric Association. She is an active invited lecturer on specialty contact lens management and ocular surface diseases and was named one of America’s Best Eye Doctors in 2021 by Newsweek.
“I have struggled with unique vision and eye-related challenges throughout life, which helped me to understand the importance of healthy eyes and good eyesight. This fueled my interest in optometry and particularly the field of specialty contact lenses, which aims to improve vision and ocular comfort in many suffering from irregular corneas and dry eyes.
My first priority is to listen and understand my patient's concerns, then do my best to offer personalized and customized care to each person. Most important are trust and communication.”
