Christine E. Choi, DO, is a board-certified pulmonologist with Keck Medicine of USC who also specializes in critical and intensive care. She is an expert in the treatment of obstructive lung diseases, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis, pleural and pulmonary vascular conditions, restrictive lung disorders and the management of lung nodules.
Dr. Choi earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. She completed her internal medicine residency, followed by a pulmonary critical care fellowship, at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.
Dr. Choi serves as an assistant professor of clinical medicine for the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Choi was recognized for her frontline work and was featured in the Los Angeles Times (Feb. 3, 2021) for her contributions. Her academic interests focus on improving health care systems and processes to make care safer, more efficient and more accessible to all.
Outside of work, Dr. Choi enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. At home, she loves exploring her local neighborhoods and trying new restaurants with her husband.
