Angeline Nguyen, MD is Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, University of Southern California Roski Eye Institute and Ophthalmology Co-Director for Medical Student Education at the Keck School of Medicine.
She graduated summa cum laude from the Southern Methodist University and earned her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Johns Hopkins University Wilmer Eye Institute and completed pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship training at the Stanford University Byers Eye Institute.
Her clinical and surgical interests include a broad range of ophthalmological conditions, such as amblyopia, congenital cataract, and pediatric and adult strabismus. She utilizes prisms, Botox, and surgery with hidden adjustable sutures in the management of strabismus. She has a strong interest in ophthalmic education and enhancing broad representation within the ophthalmology workforce.
