For the second year in a row, Keck Medicine of USC brought home the prestigious President’s Award during the 61st annual PRism Awards honoring excellence in public relations hosted by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-LA). The President’s Award is given to the organization that receives the most PRism awards that year.
Keck Medicine won a total of 10 awards: five first-place PRism Awards and five Awards of Excellence.

This year marks the fourth consecutive year Keck Medicine has been honored at the annual PRSA-LA Prism awards. In 2024, Keck Medicine won a total of 14 awards and the corporate communications team received a 2024 Silver Anvil, the highest award possible, at the national PRSA awards in the category of Multicultural Public Relations for its media campaign, “Hearing Aids Save Lives.”
In 2022, the corporate communications team was named the PRSA-LA In-House Team of the Year for its high-achieving efforts during the pandemic. The team went on to be named In-House Team of the Year at the 2022 national PRSA awards.
The PRSA is the leading professional organization serving the communications community through a network of more than 400 professional and student chapters across the globe.
The PRSA-LA PRism awards were held on October 9 at the ASU California Center’s Herald Examiner Building in Los Angeles.
