Join us for the Doc Talks Lecture Series, an educational program hosted at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in collaboration with the YMCA. This series features local medical experts delivering key health information and community wellness updates in a welcoming setting.

This specific talk provides an update on recent changes in dementia care, treatments, and caregiver resources, led by board-certified Neurologist Dr. Vahe Akopian.

What we will cover

  • New dementia treatments including FDA-approved Anti-Amyloid infusion therapy for patients with mild symptoms
  • Caregiver support that covers new strategies and resources
  • Highlights of the new GUIDE program that includes caregiver resources for the first time
  • Insights by Dr. Vahe Akopian, a dementia specialist selected by Medicare to provide GUIDE program services
