Terese C. Hammond, MD

Dr. Terese Hammond has only been with the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine for less than two years, but has already made a great impact in her roles as Medical Director of Sleep Medicine and Program Director of the Pulmonary Fellowship. Dr. Hammond has a varied background, having served in the military, worked as a stockbroker and a journalist. Dr. Hammond was elected into the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha, while a student at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. She attended Boston University Medical Center for her residency in Internal Medicine as well as her fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care.

Dr. Hammond has already received high marks from colleagues, patients and trainees. Her clinical and research interests include sleep apnea and other complex sleep disorders. She sees patients at the Center for Advance Lung Disease (CALD); for appointments call (800) USC-CARE or (800) 872-2273.
