Kidney Stone/Electrolyte Clinic

Kidney stones are a common problem in the developed world. They lead to considerable pain and suffering as well as increase the risk of kidney damage. Once a patient has kidney stones, there is a high likelihood of recurrence in the future. While our urology colleagues are highly skilled at kidney stone removal, our nephrology experts evaluate metabolic factors that cause kidney stones and use dietary and medication management to prevent stone recurrence.
