Patients with heart failure are at increased risk for kidney disease and patients with kidney disease are at increased risk for heart failure. The cardiorenal clinic focuses on these patients that have “cardiorenal syndrome”. Our nephrologist work closely with our cardiology colleagues to optimize both the heart and kidney function of patients with this difficult-to-treat condition.
